Today in History: Robert F. Kennedy was born on November 20, 1925. He served as attorney general of the United States under his brother, John F. Kennedy, and was in the process of campaigning for the 1968 presidency when he was assassinated.

On Tuesday, we will discuss Divine-Ch. 14, pp. 397-404, including Kansas-Nebraska Act, Republicans, Ostend Manifesto, and the Know-Nothing Party. On Wednesday, we will discuss Divine-Ch. 14, pp. 404-412, including Dred Scott, Lecompton Constitution, and John Brown. On Thursday, we will discuss Divine-Ch. 14, pp. 412-421, including the election of 1860. Friday, we will conclude the week with a quiz over Chapter 14.
